DO I GET A DOCTOR’S REFERRAL FROM YOU?
Referrals to doctors and other healthcare professionals are carefully considered by our therapists following thorough examinations and testing. So long as we deem necessary and have full consent of our patients, we will then contact GPs. Off work certificates and referrals for scans are also provided when suitable.
WHAT TYPES OF HEALTH INSURANCE DO YOU ACCEPT?
Streetly Osteopaths are able to accept patient referrals from Bupa.
Please inform our practitioners on appointment booking, if you are being referred from another healthcare professional or insurance company.
WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?
We would request all new patients to provide thorough details of their medical history in order for our therapists to complete an accurate case history. Following this, we ask our patients to complete the necessary tests and exercises during the examination stage. Unlike many clinics, we also include a complete treatment following the diagnosis made by our therapists. At the end of our treatment sessions, the therapists advise our patients on any exercises or self help techniques they can undertake at home.
